Inventory & Pricing

Monitor stock levels, get reorder alerts, and track competitor pricing.

Overview

Running out of a best seller is expensive. Sitting on dead stock is expensive too. Omniops keeps watch over your inventory and pricing so you can act before either becomes a problem — check stock levels, get alerts when things are running low, and see how your prices compare to competitors.

Stock Levels

Ask Omni about your inventory at any time:

  • "What's running low?"
  • "How much stock do we have of the Blue Widget?"
  • "Show me everything with fewer than 20 units"
  • "Which products are fully out of stock?"

Stock data comes directly from your WooCommerce store in real time. Every answer reflects what's actually on the shelf right now.

Low Stock Alerts

Omni doesn't wait for you to ask. When stock drops below your thresholds, you'll hear about it:

  • Predicted stockout dates — based on recent sales velocity, Omni estimates when you'll run out
  • Custom reorder alerts — set thresholds per product or category
  • Priority ranking — alerts are sorted by urgency, so your fastest-selling items surface first

Set alerts through conversation:

  • "Set a reorder alert for Product X at 10 units"
  • "Alert me when any product in the Accessories category drops below 15"
  • "What's going to run out first?"

Dead Stock Detection

Stock that isn't moving ties up capital and warehouse space. Omni identifies products that have inventory on hand but haven't sold recently:

  • "Show me dead stock"
  • "Which products haven't sold in 60 days?"
  • "How much capital is tied up in dead stock?"

This helps you make decisions about markdowns, bundling, or discontinuing products before they become a larger problem.

Inventory Health

Omni scores your overall inventory health, taking into account:

  • Stock levels relative to sales velocity
  • Products at risk of stockout
  • Dead or slow-moving inventory
  • Reorder lead times (if configured)

Ask "How's my inventory health?" for a quick summary, or dig into specific areas that need attention.

Competitor Pricing

Understanding where your prices sit in the market helps you make better decisions:

  • "How do my prices compare to competitors?"
  • "Show me a competitor price comparison for the Blue Widget"
  • "Have any competitor prices changed recently?"

Omni tracks competitor pricing and flags significant changes. You'll see side-by-side comparisons so you can decide whether to adjust, hold steady, or investigate further.

Price Change Alerts

When a competitor makes a notable price move, Omni lets you know:

  • Which product was affected
  • The old and new price
  • How it compares to your current pricing

This gives you the information to respond thoughtfully rather than reactively.

Real Scenarios

It's 8am and you ask "What's running low?" Omni shows 5 products below reorder level, sorted by urgency. You forward the list to your supplier before your first coffee.

You suspect a competitor is undercutting you. "How do my prices compare to Smith's Hardware?" Omni pulls the comparison and shows you're cheaper on 12 items but behind on the 3 bestsellers.

A product hasn't sold in 90 days. Omni flags it as dead stock and suggests bundling it with a popular item.
