Omni Chat
How to use Omni through the chat interface.
Overview
Omni is at the heart of Omniops. Through the chat interface, you can run your business using natural language — no menus, no forms, just conversation.
Getting Started
Access Omni from the main dashboard by clicking the chat icon or navigating to the chat page. Start with a simple question or command:
- "What happened in my business today?"
- "Show me this week's revenue"
- "Schedule a team meeting for tomorrow"
What Omni Can Do
Understand your numbers
Ask questions about your business data:
- Revenue and sales trends
- Order analytics and fulfilment rates
- Customer metrics and patterns
- Product performance and inventory levels
Stay on top of things
Tell Omni what needs to happen:
- "Remind me to follow up with the supplier on Friday"
- "Add 'review Q1 targets' to my todo list"
- "What tasks are overdue?"
Keep conversations moving
Manage emails and messages:
- Draft and send emails (with approval)
- Check unread messages across channels
- Schedule follow-ups
Manage your diary
Control your schedule:
- View upcoming events
- Schedule, move, or cancel meetings
- Find available time slots
How Omni Learns
Omni uses OmniOS (a behind-the-scenes knowledge base unique to your business) to maintain context about your business. Over time, Omni learns your preferences, remembers your goals, and adapts to how you work.
Tips for Better Results
- Be specific — "Show me revenue from WooCommerce this month" is better than "how are sales?"
- Give context — "Schedule a meeting with Sarah about the rebrand project" helps Omni set the right title and description
- Correct Omni — If Omni misunderstands, correct it. The feedback improves future responses
