Automatically request reviews after purchases, with branded email templates.
Overview
Good reviews build trust. But asking for them consistently after every purchase is one of those things that falls off the list when you're busy. Omniops handles it for you. After a customer buys something, a review request email goes out automatically.
How It Works
Review requests are triggered by events in your business:
- After a purchase — an email is sent 3 days after the order is fulfilled, giving the customer time to receive and use the product The timing is deliberate. Too soon and the customer hasn't formed an opinion yet. Too late and they've moved on.
Smart deduplication
A customer who buys three items in one order gets one review request, not three. One request per customer per order event — nothing more.
Email Templates
Choose from four template styles:
- Clean — minimal design, clear call to action
- Bold — prominent branding, strong visual presence
- Classic — traditional layout, professional feel
- Warm — friendly and approachable, conversational tone
Each template is customisable:
- Your business name and logo
- Your brand colours
- The review link (Google, Trustpilot, or wherever you collect reviews)
Preview and test
See exactly what your customers will receive before it goes live. Preview templates in the dashboard and send test emails to yourself to check everything looks right on different devices.
Delivery Channels
Send review requests through the channel that works best for your business:
- Built-in email delivery (Resend) — this works out of the box, no extra setup needed
- Gmail — sent from your own Gmail account
- Outlook — sent from your Microsoft 365 account
Using your own email account means review requests come from a familiar address, which tends to get better open rates.
Configuration
Set up review requests in the dashboard under Settings → Reviews, or tell Omni:
- "Turn on review requests"
- "Send review requests from my Gmail"
- "Change the review template to the warm style"
- "Update the review link to our Google Business page"
- "Send me a test review email"
Real Scenarios
A customer completes an order on Monday. On Thursday, they receive a branded email thanking them and asking for a review, with a direct link to your Google Business profile. You didn't do anything — it just happened.
You switch from the clean template to the warm template and want to see how it looks. You tell Omni, "Send me a test review email." It arrives in your inbox seconds later.
