Bookings
Your chat takes bookings straight into your calendar.
A visitor asks, picks a time that is genuinely free, and the appointment lands in your Google Calendar with a confirmation email in your name. No back and forth, no booking software, no missed enquiries at 11pm.
Every "is Thursday free?" email is a sale cooling off
Fittings, consultations, showroom visits, studio time. When the only way to book is email or phone, the enquiry waits for you to reply, you wait for them to confirm, and half the time the thread just goes quiet. The people most ready to buy are the ones asking to see you, and they are the ones a slow reply loses first.
Your chat takes bookings straight into your calendar.
Real availability, never a clash
It reads your Google Calendar live before offering a single time, and checks again the instant before booking. A slot that has just gone is refused and alternatives are offered instead.
Confirmed on the spot
The moment a visitor says yes, the appointment is in your calendar with reminders set, and they get a confirmation email carrying your business name. Replies come straight to you.
Your services, your rules
Define what can be booked, how long each service takes, your working hours, and breathing room between appointments. High-value bookings can stay as enquiries you handle personally.
Guardrails built in
Throwaway email addresses are refused politely. Sensible per-visitor and per-day limits keep your calendar safe from mischief without ever getting in a real customer's way.
You always know
Every new booking notifies you on the dashboard and your phone, with the customer's details and any notes they left.
Off until you say so
Nothing changes for your customers until you switch it on. Turn it on in your calendar settings in under a minute, turn it off just as fast.
It checks, then checks again
Between a visitor choosing a time and the booking being written, someone else could take the slot. So the widget re-checks your calendar at the last instant, every time. If the slot has gone, the visitor is told honestly and offered the nearest alternatives. In live testing we tried to double-book the same slot on purpose: refused, alternatives offered, calendar intact.
A confirmation that sounds like you
The customer gets a calendar invite and a confirmation email in your business name, with the date and time in both your timezone and theirs. If they reply, it goes to your inbox. If they did not make the booking, one reply cancels it.
Built for shops, ready for more
Personal shopping appointments, fittings, consultations, showroom visits for stores. Studio hire and session bookings for creative spaces. Works with Google Calendar today; Microsoft 365 calendars are planned. Instant confirmation is the current mode, with an approve-first option planned for high-value bookings.
Bookings arrive while you work
Connect Google Calendar
One connection in your integrations page, the same one Omni uses to help with your diary.
Define your bookable services
Name each service and how long it takes, set your hours, add buffer time if you want space between appointments.
Switch on chat booking
One toggle in calendar settings. Instant confirmation stays on so every booking is real.
Bookings arrive while you work
Visitors book day and night. You get notified, your calendar fills itself, and every customer gets a proper confirmation.
Before you try it.
Which calendars does it work with?
Google Calendar today. Microsoft 365 calendar support is planned. Your customers never need any calendar at all, they just get an email and an invite.
Can it double-book me?
No. It reads your real calendar before offering times and re-checks the exact slot the instant before booking. In live testing a deliberate attempt to book the same slot twice was refused with alternatives offered.
What if I want to approve bookings before they confirm?
Today chat booking is instant-confirm, which suits shorter appointments. Keep high-value bookings, like large hires or weddings, as enquiries the widget captures for you to handle personally. An approve-first flow is planned.
What does the customer receive?
A confirmation email in your business name with the time in their timezone and yours, plus a calendar invite with reminders. Replies come to your inbox.
Does it cost extra?
No. Bookings are included in the Omniops subscription, the same as the rest of the chat widget.
