Square
Connect Square so Omni can look up payments, orders, disputes, and payouts.
Overview
The Square integration gives Omni a read on your Square account, covering both card-present sales through Square Reader and online payments. Once connected, you can ask about payments, orders, disputes, payouts, and more, all through conversation.
Prerequisites
- A Square seller account
How to Connect
- Go to Integrations in your Omniops dashboard
- Select Square
- Click Connect Square
- Sign in to your Square account
- Choose the seller account and grant read access
Square only ever grants Omni read access, so it can see your data but can't change anything in Square.
What Omni Can Do
Payments and Refunds
Look up payments with amounts, card details, and status, and see refunds issued against them.
Disputes and Chargebacks
Check open disputes and chargebacks, including the reason, amount, and any deadline for a response.
Orders and Catalogue
See what's selling, look up individual orders and their line items, and browse your catalogue items and their in-stock counts.
Payouts and Invoices
Track bank payouts and their arrival dates, and look up your Square invoices and what's due.
Customers and Locations
Pull up customer records and see your Square locations.
What You Can Ask Omni
- "Show me today's Square payments"
- "Any open disputes on Square?"
- "What refunds went out this week?"
- "When's my next Square payout?"
- "What's selling best across my locations?"
What It Doesn't Do Yet
This connection is read-only. Omni can look up your Square data but doesn't issue refunds, change catalogue or inventory, or make any other changes in Square.
Troubleshooting
Connection expired or revoked
If you see a "Square disconnected" message, go to Integrations → Square and reconnect.
Nothing showing yet
Make sure you granted access during sign-in, then give the first sync a few minutes to pull in your recent data.
