Goals with Omni
Turn a business goal into work that moves.
Tell Omni what you want to change. It helps make the outcome measurable, shows you the plan, waits for your approval, then keeps the work and progress together.
A goal is easy to name. The next move is harder.
You know what needs to improve, but the useful work is scattered between notes, conversations and good intentions. The target stays vague, the first action arrives late, and nobody checks whether the plan is actually changing the result.
Omni turns the outcome into a measurable goal and an ordered plan. You see what it wants to do before anything starts. Once you approve it, the actions appear in Tasks and the result stays in view, so the goal does not disappear after the first conversation.
Watch the idea become something you can act on.
This 12-second recording is the real product. Omni explains the boundary, opens a normal conversation and leaves the first sentence editable. Nothing is created merely because the screen appeared.
More than writing down a target.
Shapes the ambition
Start with something broad, such as bringing more first-time customers back. Omni asks for the detail needed to make the result clear.
Chooses honest evidence
It names the measure, starting point, target and period. Connected business evidence is used when available; otherwise progress stays manual and visible.
Builds the first route
It turns the outcome into ordered actions, explains why they belong, and puts an earlier check before the final deadline.
Makes the work visible
After approval, dated actions appear in Tasks. Ask Omni what is next or work from the list without rebuilding the plan from memory.
Checks whether it moved
Completing actions advances the plan, not the result. The goal only moves when its named measure changes or you record a manual update.
Changes route cleanly
If an early signal stays flat, Omni can propose another route without repeating completed work. The replacement waits for approval too.
Bring the business result. Omni helps shape the route.
These are examples, not promised outcomes. The exact measure and plan depend on the evidence your business has connected and the decisions you approve.
You might say
“Help me get more first-time customers to buy from us again over the next 90 days.”
Result to measure
A defined repeat-purchase measure, its current starting point, a 90-day target and the customer group included.
A route Omni can help you shape
- 01Use the available customer and order evidence to find where first-time buyers are dropping away.
- 02Choose one bounded retention action and turn the preparation into dated work.
- 03Check an earlier response signal before waiting for the full 90-day result.
- Earlier check
- Review whether the chosen customer group is responding before the final repeat-purchase result is due.
- If it stalls
- Keep completed learning, stop the weak route and propose a different retention action for approval.
This example needs suitable customer and order data. Without it, Omni should say what is missing rather than invent a starting point.
Your first sentence can be rough. The saved goal cannot.
You do not need to know the metric name, target structure or planning language before you begin. Omni helps uncover those details, then shows the exact goal back to you.
Describe the change
Say what you want to be different in the business, who or what it concerns, and any deadline that matters.
Answer the useful questions
Omni asks only for the missing detail needed to make the result measurable and bounded.
Approve the exact version
The outcome, measure, starting point, target and period are visible together before the goal becomes active.

The route leaves the chat. The next action stays findable.
Once you accept the plan, its actions become real work with dates and order. You can work from Tasks or ask Omni what deserves attention next.
Actions become dated tasks
Each approved step carries its place in the plan and the date it is meant to happen.
Completed work stays completed
If the plan changes later, finished validation and useful evidence are kept rather than quietly recreated.
Plan progress stays separate
Finishing an action can advance the plan without falsely claiming the business result improved.

The work can finish without the goal pretending to move.
The result has its own measure. Omni checks that evidence separately from the action list, then helps you decide what to do when the route is not working.
Read the named result
Connected evidence can update the goal when the source is supported. Manual goals wait for an owner update.
Use an earlier signal
A checkpoint gives you a chance to judge the route before the final target date makes change too late.
Replace, do not rewrite
A new route becomes a new proposed plan. It carries finished work forward and needs another approval before it takes over.
From outcome to progress, in four clear moves.
Tell Omni the outcome
Start with what you want to change in the business. Omni helps make the result and its measure clear.
Review the goal and plan
Check the target, dates, actions and earlier progress check. Edit anything that does not fit, then approve when it does.
Work from Tasks
The approved actions appear in Tasks. Complete the work there or ask Omni what is next at any point.
Measure, achieve or replan
Omni checks the named result. If the target is reached the goal closes; if the route stalls, you can approve a better one.
Before you try it.
Can Omni guarantee that I will reach the goal?
No. A real business result depends on the market, the work and factors outside OmniOps. Omni helps you define the result, organise the work, check the evidence and change route when needed. It does not promise an outcome it cannot control.
Does anything start before I approve it?
No. Omni shows you the proposed goal and plan first. The work only becomes active after you approve the exact version in front of you.
Where do the actions go?
Approved actions appear in Tasks with their dates and order. You can also ask Omni what is next or how the goal is progressing.
What kinds of goals can I bring?
Examples include improving repeat purchases, reducing an aged support backlog, protecting stock availability or completing a bounded launch. Omni checks what evidence is actually available for the result. If it cannot measure something automatically, it keeps the progress manual or tells you what is missing.
How does Omni know whether the goal is moving?
Each goal has a named measure, starting point, target and period. Omni reads that measure from the available business evidence. If the evidence is missing or out of date, it tells you rather than inventing progress.
What happens when the first plan is not working?
Tell Omni what changed. It can propose a replacement that keeps completed work, changes the remaining route and comes back to you for approval before it becomes active.
Start with the outcome
Bring the next goal you care about. Make the first move clear.
Tell Omni what needs to change. It will help turn that into a measurable goal and a plan you can review before any work starts.
