Data Deletion Instructions

If you are an OmniOps customer, an end-customer who has chatted with a merchant using OmniOps, or a Meta user who interacted with a connected merchant on Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp, you can request deletion of your data using the routes below.

OmniOps customers (merchants)

If you have an OmniOps dashboard account, you can request deletion of your operator-side data from inside the product.

  • Sign in at https://www.omniops.co.uk/dashboard.
  • Open Settings → Privacy.
  • Click "Delete my data". You will be asked to re-authenticate with multi-factor authentication.
  • All your conversations, follow-ups, OmniOS documents, and integration credentials are removed.
  • We confirm by email once deletion is complete.

End-customers (widget conversations)

If you chatted with an OmniOps-powered widget on a merchant's website and want your conversation deleted:

  • Email [email protected] from the email you used to chat.
  • Include the merchant's website domain and an approximate date or time of the chat if you can.
  • We action the request within 30 days and confirm by email.

Meta-sourced data (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp)

If you are a Meta user who interacted with a merchant using OmniOps via Facebook Messenger, Instagram DMs, or WhatsApp:

Automatic deletion when you remove the app

When you remove the OmniOps app from your Facebook/Meta account, Meta automatically notifies us. We disconnect the affected credentials immediately and complete data deletion within 30 days. Meta's configured deletion callback URL is https://www.omniops.co.uk/api/meta/data-deletion.

Manual request

You can also email [email protected] directly. Include the Meta service (Messenger / Instagram / WhatsApp), the merchant's page or business name if known, and the approximate date of contact.

What happens after we receive a request

  • We disconnect any integrations linking your Meta identity to a merchant's OmniOps account.
  • We delete cached profile, message, and conversation data we hold.
  • Full deletion completes within 30 days, as required by Meta's App Platform Terms and applicable data-protection law.
  • We retain only the minimum required by law (for example, audit logs for financial transactions where applicable).
